The challenge was to create a brand identity that balanced spontaneity with professionalism. After an earlier design from another party failed to resonate with the clients, with only a week to go, I was brought in to deliver a compelling solution under tight time constraints.

The Challenge
The identity needed to reflect the podcast’s vibrant, personal nature while maintaining professionalism. It had to capture the raw, conversational spirit while reinforcing themes of self-discovery, and be easily adaptable for video editing and motion graphics.
The Solution
I crafted a bold, adaptable brand identity that aligns with the podcast's dynamic and candid tone. The design combines playful and structured elements, incorporating literal breakout room and wayfinding motifs to symbolize personal conversations and peer-to-peer activated growth. The solution strikes a balance between fun and reflection, showcasing the hosts’ approachable, thoughtful nature.

The new identity gives The Breakout Room a distinctive, engaging presence. It reflects the podcast's style and is adaptable across platforms, demonstrating that high-quality design can be achieved even on tight timelines. The first episode is set to be launched soon.
